It depends on your usage and market conditions which vary throughout the year. Our target savings are shown for each plan above. Most customers will fall within the target range for their plan. Some will save more and some will save less. Our focus is on saving you more than you pay for your Utiliz subscription on an annual basis, at a minimum.
We provide best-in-class service and regular, transparent communication. We also select supplier plans that we believe will save you more than what you pay us for your subscription, at a minimum. We care about your satisfaction and will happily credit the difference to your Utiliz account, should your savings (compared to your utility standard service) not exceed your spend on your Utiliz subscription on an annual basis.
Yes. In fact Utiliz never stores or even sees your card details. They are maintained securely by our payment providers ChargeBee and Stripe who are both compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). All communication between your browser and our payment providers is encrypted using transport layer security (TLS).
After you sign up, you will receive a few emails from us. One is your payment receipt. One will tell you how to access your Utiliz account. The last one gives instructions on how to send us a recent utility bill. Once we receive your bill, we will normally process your first enrollment within a few days. We keep you informed every step of the way and you can always reach us at help@myutiliz.com
Normally we'll get your first enrollment done within a few days of importing your bill. However depending on your billing cycle, time of year, and market conditions it may sometimes take 1-2 weeks for the right plan to become available and for us to make the switch.
If you're already on a 3rd party supplier plan and it has an early termination fee, we can still help. We'll analyze your situation to figure out whether it's better for us to wait till your current contract expires before switching you, or whether we can save you enough long term to justify taking the ETF hit in the short term.
If you buy a monthly subscription, you will charged automatically each month. If you buy an annual subscription, you'll be billed again on the 1 year anniversary of your service. In either case you are not locked in to any long term contract and can cancel at any time.
Yes, your full billing history is available from your Utiliz account. You will receive instructions on how to access your account right after you sign up.
Yes, we have a 'Give and Get' referral program. When you refer someone and they sign up, they'll get 3 months free and you'll get a $10 credit toward future Utiliz service. To refer a friend please send them your personal referral link or code. You can find this in your MyUtiliz account or at the bottom of most of the emails we send you.
